The graphite sketches you are viewing were handmade in entirety, sketched on acid-free 11"x14" Strathmore Bristol  heavy weight, smooth surface board, with Rexel Derwent Graphic Sketching soft, medium, and hard graphite pencil sets, using the left and right hand of the artist in natural light.

Each took the artist almost 15 days to perfection.  These are not traced or replicated by any other means other than by the eyes and hands of the artist interpreting the image of the subject in a photograph.

Each sketch shown is a 150 'lines per inch' gray-scale scan of the original sketch (not a print) and will be used to produce a limited edition of 'artist-signed' and numbered, high-quality matted and framed prints.  Original sketches are also available, but very limited.

Both the original and prints are quite striking and very real to life.  These are truly pieces to purchase if you are a collector or just appreciate the beauty and taste of fine graphite art.

A price list and additional graphites of The Beatles, as a group, and individually, from the years 1962 through 1970, and beyond, will soon be on display at this web site, so check back.  Individual sketches will also be offered in sets, like Beatles '65 - a set of sketches, four-up of each individual sketch of The Fab Four from 1965, or as four full-sized prints.
